Other Musings…

The Return of the Cat

One of my favorite local watering holes, The Mean Eyed Cat, has officially returned to Austin bigger and better than ever. After closing to readjust to the influx of newly built condos, the Mean Eyed Cat has reopened its eclectic doors, only this time with a new patio and a number of new menu offerings. In addition to Stubb’s BBQ eats, the Cat now serves liquor along with a rotating selection of 15 draft beers. No word if the wine list still includes Boone’s Farm, however. Stay tuned to the Mean Eyed Cat’s Facebook page for upcoming events, including an official Reopening Party!
