Dish/Deal of the Day: Taco Tuesday @ Quality Seafood

A new year has officially begun, which means one thing: resolutions. Today’s Dish of the Day is a perfect solution to abiding by all those promises to eat healthy, save money, and so on. As mentioned here, Taco Tuesdays at Quality Seafood are a college student’s dream, but after rediscovering this steal of a deal, my stomach and bank account gladly can’t get enough. As part of their weekly specials menu, Quality Seafood serves $2 seafood tacos alongside $2 domestic beers every Tuesday night from 6-9pm. Each taco comes with a choice of shrimp, mahi-mahi, or catfish served grilled, blackened, or fried on a flour or corn tortilla. As an added bonus, each taco is topped with one of four homemade salsas such as mango pineapple pico and verde cream sauce. The salsas range in spiciness, but each option is bursting with flavor and perfect on top of fresh seafood. The best part about these delicious tacos is despite the $2 price tag, each is stuffed with a hearty portion of seafood. Two usually is more than enough as these tacos are as filling as they are budget-friendly. Of course, ordering grilled or blackened will also help to stick with that New Year diet plan. Add a trip to Quality Seafood to the 2012 agenda because let’s face it, Taco Tuesdays might just be the best chance all those resolutions have at success come February.
