TRACE at The W hosts Family-Style Boucherie 9/16:  TRACE at The W Austin is throwing a New Orleans-inspired event this Sunday from 3-9pm complete with live music, Cajun eats, drink specials, and Saints football. The afternoon’s menu includes a whole roasted pig and sides such as Creole potato salad, braised collard greens, and rice & beans created by Big Easy native and Chef de Cuisine Ben Hightower. TRACE Pastry Chef Janina O’Leary will be serving sweet treats such as freshly made beignets. The afternoon’s soundtrack will be provided by The Vermilionaires.

Scrumptious Chef RL Reeves, Three Little Pigs, and East End Wines are hosting another edition of their popular Scrumptious Chef Pop-Up Events this Sunday at East End Wines (located at 1209 Rosewood, Austin, TX 78702). With Sunday being Mexican Independence Day, it is only fitting the theme for this event is Tex-Mex, complete with pork tamales, tostadas, San Antonio style Chili, and much, much more. Olive & June is hosting a special Rosh Hashanah inspired Italian feast during this week’s installment of the restaurant’s family-style Sunday dinner.
