Thanksgiving is right around the corner and whether you are headed to Austin for the Horns game or just want someone else to do the heavy lifting this Turkey Day, chances are you are looking for a place to dine. Bar Mirabeau – Newly opened Bar Mirabeau will be hosting a Thanksgiving feast to please traditionalist and nonconformist alike with a menu boasting Smoked Lobster with hollandaise sauce and Braised Beef Short Ribs in addition to a Deep Fried Turkey Galantine dinner. The three-course menu is $29.95/pp (add +$20 for lobster) and $10.95/children 12 and under. Thanksgiving at Bar Mirabeau runs from 1-9pm. Trace at the W– Open from 4:00pm-9:00pm with a special multicourse, family-style Thanksgiving menu for $55/adults and $15/children; Menu here. Reservations recommended: 512.542.3660. In addition, TRACE is also offering a special take-out option featuring a turkey and all the fixings. The dinner, listed here, is $125/for two and $175/for four.
Josey’s at Lakeway Resort and Spa – Josey’s at Lakeway Resort and Spa will be offering a Thanksgiving Brunch from 10:30am-3:00pm. The cost is $50/pp and $20/children 12 and under. Full menu can be found here. For reservations, call 512.261.7323.
The Bakehouse - The Bakehouse will be serving their traditional turkey dinner, all you can eat at your table, for $15.95/guest and $6.95/12 and under. Carry-out orders available for $12.95/pp. 5404 Manchaca Rd, 512.443-5167
The Driskill – The Driskill will be serving a traditional Thanksgiving feast at both brunch and dinner with a multicourse menus available here and here. Brunch runs from 10am-3pm and cost is $65/adults and $32.50/children with free unlimited champagne for 21+; Dinner runs from 3-8pm and costs $85/pp and $35/children under 12. Reservations strongly recommended: 512.391.7039. In addition, the Driskill is also offering a special take-away menu (listed here) for $35/pp.
Carmelo’s – Carmelo’s will be serving a special $19.95 Thanksgiving meal in addition to the regular menu beginning at 11am on Turkey Day. Full menu is available here and reservations can be made by calling 512477.7497.
Hyde Park Grille – All locations will be serving a special Thanksgiving feast from 11am-7pm; Cost is $16.95 adults/$12.95 children; Additionally, you can preorder a bird from Hyde Park to feed the family at home without any heavy lifting. Cost is $55/turkey. Details here.
Green Pastures – The lovely Green Pastures restaurant in South Austin will host a special Thanksgiving Brunch from 11:00am-2:00pm with a full menu including their famed Milk Punch. Cost is $63/pp and reservations can be made by calling (512)-444-4747.
Moonshine – Downtown’s Moonshine Bar & Grill will be hosting a special Turkey version of their Southern comfort brunch from 11:00am-2:00pm. Cost is $19.95/pp. More information, call 512.236.9599.
