East Side’s newest concert venue, Beauty Ballroom, celebrates its grand opening this weekend with a full line up of high energy shows. Kick off the weekend Friday with Brooklyn rapper Theophilus London. You might remember his much buzzed about performances at this year’s ACL fest followed by a return trip to Austin late 2011. He’ll be joined by Treasure Fingers w/ LAX, Vegas Banger, and Ricky Jean Francois. Tickets still available here. MUTEMATH takes over the main stage Friday, but the real steal of the weekend is Saturday Indoors with The Features w/SPEAK. Local synth pop band SPEAK is always puts on a dance-worthy show, and a perfect opening act for indie/psychedelic rock band The Features.
Sunday catch hypno-rock band Twin Sister at Mohawk to end the weekend with some easy listening music that will help you forget the impending Manic Monday.
