Now that the holidays in full swing, there is one question on everyone’s mind: what are you doing New Year’s Eve? Here are a few happenings around town to help you say adios to 2013 and hello to 2014!

Fabi + Rosi will be hosting a four-course NYE dinner for $55/per person. Seatings are available between 5-8:30pm. Reservations required 512.236.0642. Full menu available here.

Foreign + Domestic will be serving an over the top six-course dinner with options such as lobster, caviar and more. Cost – including drink pairings with each course – is $100/per person with tax and tip included. Reserve your spot at either the 7pm or 9:30pm seating by calling 512.459.1010. Dance your way into 2014 at the Chicago House’s NYE bash complete with multiple DJ sets and drink specials. Cover is $5 before 11pm/$10 after.

Parkside Austin is hosting a full force New Year’s Eve bash on their rooftop patio with an open bar, appetizers, champagne toast, photo booth, music and more. The bash kicks off at 10pm. Tickets – available here– are $100 before 12/26 or $150 after. Call 512-474-9898 or visit here for more info.

Looking for something a bit more low key? Parkside has that route covered as well with a special four-course dinner for $72/per person. Reservations required. Full menu here.

Hotel San Jose invites you to shake your groove thing from 8 pm – midnight this New Year’s Eve. DJ Honeycomb will be performing and guests can enjoy drinks, dancing and merriment. The event is free and open to the public. Hotel San Jose is located at 1316 S Congress Ave.

Uchi and Uchiko will offer a special New Year’s Eve Omakase menu ($125 for two people), in addition to the full menu.  Uchi’s ceiling will be full of balloons and both restaurants will serve complimentary champagne at midnight.  Call 512.916.4808 to make a reservation.

The City of Austin is kicking off the New Year with the annual firework show at Auditorium Shores from 5-10pm. This year’s event promises to be bigger than ever with local food trucks offering bites, live music and entertainment, and a series of short films playing on the big screen. Want to skip the big bash or sit down dinner? There are plenty of live music options available to help you ring in 2014:

J Roddy Waltson and the Business at Lambert’s – Tickets are $75 and include champagne toasts.

Shakey Graves at The Parish (Night 2) – Tickets are $17.50 in advance.

Ryan Bingham at Emo’s (Night 2) – Tickets are $55.

Grupo Fantasma at The Belmont – Tickets are $35/GA or $60/VIP.

Bob Schneider at the Paramount – Tickets start at $42.

The North Door will feature the musical stylings of Scott Biram. Tickets are $18 and available here.

Mohawk Austin will be hosting The Breeders for the band’s latest stop on their Last Splash 20th Anniversary tour. Tickets are $47.50 and available here.

Sway is hosting ‘The Yellow Robe’ party this New Year’s Eve inspired by the traditional garb worn by Thai monks as a reminder of the importance of letting go. During the bash, enjoy a full open bar, dinner, champagne toast and music from 8pm until 2am. Tickets are $150/pp and available here.

Ring in the New Year at Malverde from 9pm until 2am with festivities including a DJ, open bar, photobooth and more. Tickets are $100/pp and available here.

Hops & Grain is throwing a Black & White Affair complete with eats by Gonzo Food Truck, a DJ spinning tunes, a midnight balloon drop and of course, plenty of brews. The festivities kick off at 9:30pm and entrance is $5/per beer.

Searsucker is doing a four-course menu for $65 and will offer a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Full menu and reservation information can be found here.

TRACE at the W is offering two seating and menu options this NYE. The first is a four-course dinner for $115/pp from 5-7pm. As a later and lighter option, TRACE will offer a second seating beginning at 8pm where a three-course menu for $95 will be served. Following dinner at TRACE, take advantage of some of hte happenings at the W Austin. Venture upstairs for the Remix & Revelry Party featuring local headliner Max Frost, an open bar and passed small bites. Get your early bird tickets (on sale now) for $195 here; otherwise, GA tickets are $225 and VIP tickets are $300/pp.

For something a bit more intimate, make reservations in the W’s Living Room area for their ‘Drop the Ball’ party, happening from 9:30pm-12am. Tickets are $200/pp and include champagne, TRACE eats, music and more. Call 512.542.3686.

The Goodnight Austin is throwing an All-Inclusive Casino Night to ring in the New Year. Tickets are $100/pp and include an open bar, unlimited bowling and table games, a raffle, appetizers and more. Details and ticket info can be found here.

Lenoir invites you to join for a special four-course NYE dinner, priced to move at $50/pp. Call 512.215.9778 for reservations while they still have a few openings!

Speaking of the hottest tickets in town: Barley Swine will be serving a special 15-course dinner for $150/pp including beer and wine pairings on NYE.  Email info@barleyswine.com for a spot ASAP.

The Carillon is offering a NYE-themed seven-course tasting menu for $125 per person with an optional wine pairing for $85 per person. Seating times are between 5:30pm and 11:00pm. Reservations are required at 512.404.3655 or TheCarillon@attconf.utexas.edu.

Start the New Year at an old Austin institution, the Broken Spoke, for the famed dance hall’s 50th anniversary New Year’s Eve Dance. More details can be found here.

Justine’s will throw their traditional over the top NYE bash complete with flowing champagne, live entertainment, decadent eats and more. The Kubla Khan themed event is $175/pp with more details available here.

Spider House Austin will throw is traditional NYE Revolution Party. Kicking off at 8pm, the bash will include a number of local bands, a ball drop and more. Cost is $25/pp. More details can be found here.

The Four Seasons Austin will host a special NYE event in the hotel lobby bar featuring the Murphy’s InLaws from 8pm-1am. The event is $35/pp. Cash bar.

The Bonneville will be celebrating New Year’s Eve with a four-course menu including champagne upon arrival for $70. Wine pairings are also available for an additional $30.

Russian House will be ringing in the New Year will an all night bash that starts at 10pm and ends with a breakfast after the sun comes up. Festivities include champagne, live music and more. There are 2 pricing levels for tickets (available here). $150 gets you a special NYE menu, champagne and a seated reservation while the $100 ticket is sans seat and dinner, but does include a fruit plate and champagne…
